Guillaume Taccoen – Schneider Electric
After completing his Master of Science and Engineering diploma at INSA-Lyon France, Guillaume joined Schneider Electric to participate to the design of the Modicons PLCs. He joined the Drives Line of Business in 2007, where he held various positions in engineering management, project
management and operational marketing. Having worked in Asia, North America and Europe, he can speak English, French and Chinese.
Philip Green – Schneider Rental
Philip has worked with the finance industry for over 20 years and completed many Project Finance transactions including Energy Performance Contracts, Operating and Finance Lease during that time. He offers a large amount of experience in Public and Private Sector finance with an in-depth knowledge of the accounting and balance sheet treatment of asset finance transactions. Prior to working with Schneider Electric he was responsible for the Public and Corporate Sector Finance portfolio for a UK high street Bank.
Kris Szajdzicki - BSI & ESTA
Kris Szajdzicki is the founder and now Chairman of ND Metering Solutions (aka Northern Design), one of the world’s leading manufacturers of electricity sub-meters.

He has some 35 years’ experience in energy management, has been a member of the ESTA management council for about 20 years and, in late 2009, was invited to become a fellow of the Energy Institute. In 2012, he was elected to the council of the Energy Institute.
Steve Schofield - BPMA Established in 1941, the BPMA is the UK Trade Association representing the interests of the UK manufacturers of liquid pumps. Steve is currently responsible for all BPMA’s Technical, Training, Standards, legislative and energy related activities.

Since joining the BPMA he has been actively involved in many of the European Commission energy programmes such as “Pump SAVE”, “Motor Challenge”, “ProMot” and “DEXA. He has given papers on energy related issues in the UK, Europe, USA , South Africa and Singapore. Prior to joining the BPMA in 1998 he worked in the Pump Industry for 25 years having held appointments with Mather & Platt/ Weir Pumps, Durco/Flowserve and latterly Hayward Tyler.
Steve Brambley - GAMBICA
Steve Brambley is a Deputy Director at GAMBICA, the Trade Association for Instrumentation, Control, Automation and Laboratory Technology in the UK.

He is responsible for representing the Industrial Automation sector, covering product groups for Variable Speed Drives, Controlgear, Soft Starts, PLCs, Terminals, Enclosures, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Position Sensors and machine Safety Components.

GAMBICA seeks to inform users and designers of Motor Driven Systems on the benefits of intelligent control using automation technology, particularly in the increasingly important arena of energy efficiency.
Tim Dawson - IHS Research Tim Dawson is the Director of Industrial Automation research at IHS. He is responsible for spearheading the company’s Industrial Automation business, which comprises a team of over 30 dedicated analysts. His primary expertise relates to discrete automation, process automation and end-equipment market research.

Tim obtained a BEng honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University. He has been with the company since 2000, and has produced a broad range of custom and syndicated commercial research projects, covering a wide range of industrial electronic component and end-equipment markets. Tim is a regular speaker at industry events, tradeshows and conferences worldwide. He is based in Wellingborough, UK and may be contacted at Tim.Dawson@ihs.com.
Nipun Sibal - Schneider Electric Having completed a specialised fast track Motion & Drives programme within the company, is now highly skilled in providing energy saving solutions to industry, focussed on unleashing the highest potential of variable speed drive technology in different industry sectors. Prior to joining Schneider Electric, completed Graduate training with Converteam, which is now part of General Electric, as an Application Power System Engineer, responsible for wide range of engineering activities: design of AC switchboards and carrying out harmonic studies. An MSc graduate (Engineering Business Management) at the University of Warwick and BEng (Hons) at Coventry University.
Daniel Griffiths - WEG
Working within the Industrial Automation sector for the past 19 years, Daniel has held a wide spectrum of electrical positions covering system design, installation, service and maintenance, gaining a broad knowledge of applications, best practices and engineering standards.

Focusing on energy efficiency and productivity improvements, Daniel uses his experience to provide technical advice and efficient solutions using WEG’s extensive range of energy efficient products across a wide range of industrial sectors.
Carl Hawarden - BOGE Compressors
Carl joined BOGE Compressors as Business Development Manager straight from the University of Manchester in September 2011, where he gained a BS Honours degree in Chemical Engineering. Since then, Carl has been awarded a DipCAM© (Diploma in Compressed Air Management) certificate to recognise his exceptional level of expertise. To bring customers the benefit of this level of experience, Carl now enjoys the role of Energy and Oil Free Specialist. Equipped with this advanced qualification, Carl is responsible for advising and supporting customers in the specification and installation of Energy Efficient and Oil Free products.
David Arbuthnott - ERIKS UK
From joining the company as a Commercial Trainee in 1984, David has worked his way up through the company to now head the Corporate Accounts Division as a Director, a position he has held since the mid-1990s. Around this time, he launched the now company-wide initiative to help our customers identify and implement technical and commercial benefits and savings, which this year has a target of £2 million savings each and every month delivered to our customers’ bottom line.

David and his team work hand in hand with customers and ERIKS technical specialists to oversee these programmes and ensure sustainable results.
Allan Hurdle, - Flaktwoods
Allan is the former Vice President of leading ventilation equipment manufacturer, FlaktWoods of Colchester. He has been in the ventilation industry since 1989, having been Managing Director of several axial fan and ventilation companies - Matthews and Yates, Gill Air and Elta Fans - before joining the FlaktWoods Group in 2008.

Currently Allan is a Consultant and Ambassador to the Flaktwoods Group for business development, Trade Associations and Staff Development.
Andy Cruse – ERIKS UK
Andy Cruse has over 30 years experience in the pump industry, originally from a repair background working in the UK and abroad. Andy heads up ERIKS pump division that operates a repair or replacement strategy focussed on energy reduction, innovation, and obsolescence risk management.
